It would look more impactful I think if when that frozen frame happened you saw more clearly that he was being hit. I've noticed that when the freeze happens, it's at the exact same time he gets hit, so he hasn't actually changed to his 'hurt' sprite animation. However when my character gets hit, he enters a 'hurt' state where he knocks back and his sprite changes. I have a screen freeze script that happens when my character gets hit, or hits an enemy, for a spit second just as a cool effect. I'll explain my issue, and maybe you all know a better solution.
